Britská herečka a zpěvačka. Vystudovala uměleckou střední školu a začla se věnovat divadlu. Později se objevila v několika britský filmech. Mezi ně patří úspěšný snímek Rozum a cit. V roce 1997 přišel však opravdový úspěch ve formě velkofilmu Titanic. Poté se vypracovala v úspěšnou a uznávanou herečku. její poslední film je znovu s Leonardem di Capriem Nouzový východ.
